i was wondering if the main body of all lancers (es,ls,oz/raliart/evo) is the same.

i'm wondering because i've been driving my 2003 evo for the past 2 years and just recently crashed and it is beyond repair. though, i have a 2003 oz rally also and was wondering if i could possibly just take everything off my evo and just put it all into the oz. as in all the driveline, engine... everything... so it would pretty much be an evolution.

The only thing that I know that is a direct swap is the trunk. Everything else, I have no idea.

 

no alot more welds and support plates on an evo. i think the rear floor pan may be different, and i know there is nowhere to mount the rear subframe to hold the rear diff

 

The drivetrain will be completely different.Ive seen someone convert a regular lancer to a evo before but it cost some serious $$$$$.

 

well, my father owns a large body and customization shop. any tool you could think of along with the expierence. would that help at all with the cost, cuz i miss my evolution =/
