$485/month.... for practically basic
I had a leased car before my deployment, turned it in since I wouldn't be driving, came back and didn't know about the whole I have a month to get coverage.
TLDR: Lapse in coverage.
Rates I was getting was between 400's - 900/month. Progressive was the ~900 -.-
31yo / Nothing in the past 8 years not even a speeding ticket.
Edit: After the 6 months of this high risk rate, is there a balllpark % that it should drop once I'm no longer high risk?

$254/mo for full coverage on my 2015 MR with 500/500/0 for deductibles on comp/collision/glass respectively (State Farm). I'm 24 in MN with no tickets on my recent record (they're all over 5 years ago). I also have a house, a 2004 Grand Prix and a 2004 CBR600RR insured through them.
I actually totaled my 2014 MR last Christmas night (worst Christmas ever) due to some ridiculous ice/snow and a way overestimated repair cost. Insurance cost for my new X went down, surprisingly.
My insurance guy told me if I switched the Evo as being my secondary car it would drop by $100/mo. Needless to say I'm now looking for an additional vehicle lol
