Add me to the keyed evo list.
So at 8 am (!!) today, I took a final for this semester and two hours later, came back to find two scratches on my driver-side door. One of them is pretty light and goes only though the clear, but the other looks like it is down through to the primer.
I bought one of those OEM paint markers, but I doubt it will help much. Anyone have any other tips on reducing the damage short of body shop work?
This was outside of UC Berkeley on a 05' TB GSR. I feel both extremely pissed off and frustrated.
I'll post some pics if I ever find the time. DAMMIT!

thats what happens when u have an evo.. young kids that cant afford one think they have to do stuff like that to make them feel good..

Berkeley is a good school if you like the whole urban campus thing. Classes and stuff are competitive seeing that it is a public institution, but we have some top notch profs and such.
It'll kill you if you're not responsible. Otherwise, I like it a lot - well, minus the punks who violated my car.

I havent been keyed yet, but someone purposefully slammed their car door into mine, as my mirror was folded back and then there was a giant white mark/scratch/dent in the middle of my door. Probably 4 inches tall by 2 inches wide.
I had it wet-sanded down and buffed out, but the scratches and dent are still there. I was quoted $335 for a fix which includes completely repainting the door...I get so enraged when I think about it.
