I never see STIs in my area. There are about 10 evos here in my town & we usually all get together on warmer nights. I wish I saw more STIs though. I like them.

 

I agree that I see more STI's than EVO.I see about 1 EVO every 2-3 weeks and about 3 STI's a week.

 

i see about 5-10 STI's a DAY! and about 2-3 evos a week!

 

its funny, coming back from this deployment I have seen 7 Evos on Fort Drum,

2 GG, 1 Yellow, 3 AS, 1 BBY. The 2 GG amd 1 silver are IXs and the others VIIs. We got a ton of WRXs and only seen 2 STis. Out of the IXs, we (GG)are the only ones modded and out of the VIIIs the yellow and 1 silver is the only one modded. I guess some of us knew how to spend our very hard earned money.

One a side note has anyone had people in the new lancers try to race you and rev at you like there cars can hang wit ours?

 

My guess is there's 1 evo for every three or four sti's in Denver.....and then a whole bunch of modified WRX's. I think most people just didn't do their homework before they bought their car. They saw the STI had a stated 14 extra hp, and that's what sold em. They didn't think about handling, loss of hp through drivetrain, seats, room, comfort.......

thats funny I have one guy in my unit from denver and I showed him my IX but despite that he still bought an STI and he is from Denver, must be in the water hahaha

 

There seems to be some sort of small Evo gathering in the mall on the northeast corner of Jeffrey and Culver Blvd's in Irvine. I have a friend who lives a few blocks away and everytime I am leaving to head up to L.A, I see a small group of them congregating by some coffee shop or something.
