ok i know these came on the 03's but is there anyway u can swap them into the 05's if so how would it work....just wondering....

Leveler as in swapping the non HID to factory HID? There is a thread i was looking a while back about this. The schematics in the factory manual will point you in the right direction on how to make your own harness using the factory switch and leveler on the headlights. I have the leveler switch installed and plugged in my car but its just there for looks until I get time to wire it up. If thats what your asking.....

 

Well if you have HID's and have the car loaded it will keep you from blinding people. Otherwise, its cool to make your headlights move around

 

yeah i was just wandering cause i have factory hid's and ive been wanting to do that....so basically all i would need would be the switch and wires and it will be sort of a plug n play type thing?

 

I thought all HID equipped had the leveler system intalled. You sure you have HID's? Your harness on the dash side should have the plug for the lever switch next to the dimmer or fog switch.

 

yeah im sure i have both plugs covered with the plastics...no leveler....as far as i kno only 03's came with it i think

 

So you have an 05 with hid's and no leveling system? If thats the case you might wanna check your headlight housings for leveling motors to control in the first place.

 

dats one of the things i was wondering.....if you could swap it out from an 03 n transfer it to the 05.....thanks for ur help either way....will check to see dat tomorrow morning

 

look at the back of a HID headlight and you'll see what they look like (little black box). Good luck
