Who has XS Racemax Kit

Ok, so after numerous searches, I'm looking for anyone who's using the XS engineering Racemax UICP on their Evo's and what kind of issues, adjustments, etc.. had to be made. I assume you have to buy the mini battery kit, but I have seen that's not the case on one site. Also the same with the stock intake, heard you can use it or an aftermarket one. I am looking at the K&N typhoon style intake now..... If anyone has info on either of these things, pics, issues, etc. Can you please pm me or list it as the searches came up short. T.i.a.

I heard if you use the stock battery and intake box there is almost no way to improve the stock design.

You will find all the info you need here: http://www.xs-engineering.com/

But to awnser your question you will need a mini battery. The kit works with the hks rs intake and a few others. They have pretty good deals on their intercooler and pipe sets together. I am looking to get these parts and their mini battery kit come spring. I think you might have their kits mixed up with the turbo-xs kits wich work with the stock battery. Hope this helped.

I had the upper intercooler piping on my evo. I'm planning on selling it for cheap if anyone is interested. I no longer have the battery, only the piping and couplers. PM for more info.

yea, I know I'll have to get the mini battery, was just wondering about the intake, some sites (including theirs says it works with stock intake) and I've also seen the opposite, I may just get a K&N kit and see if that fits... otherwise how was the battery, did it have sufficient power for you...?

I know the turbo xs works with the stock battery, so I am not confusing them, trust me, just debating between the two and what my set up will be, thanks for any info guys, and pictures would help also, as well as overall satisfaction.

I have the XS racemax UICP, and i like it alot..
You will have to get the battery but it's pretty nice, Not the motorcycle style like some other mini's..
As far as the intake, I'm not sure cuz i have the HKS RS intake, but I doubt it will fit with the stock airbox.
Just by the way it goes over my intake, i doubt it would fit..
Overall Fitment was perfect though.
Have any other ?'s just PM me..

Click on online store. Then change the make, model, year in the fields and then click on what kind of parts you want to search for in the category field and then press the find parts button and whoala. The hardpipe kit is a complete intercooler pipe kit for the car, then they have their intercooler, and mini-battery kit.

Did all that, and then I got a screen that said "The category you have chosen is empty",or words to that effect. I'll try it again.
