Did I just buy the last brand new evo IX?
Did I just buy the last brand new evo IX?
hey guys, the dealership that I just bought my evo from was telling me that I bought the last evo IX. When I was searching around for the car about a month ago, I could only find about 3 or 4 brand new evo IXs in the country, so this may be true.
Does anyone know of any BRAND NEW evo IXs still for sale in the US?
I really doubt that I got the last one, but it would be cool to be able to say that I did

Mine is an MR, and at the time, I could only find two other brand new MRs which were in Texas. I found a few other base IXs elsewhere, but not many

there has to be some way to check the VIN, which would be the only sure way to tell. If this new X is a flop, and current energy/political trends keep going the way they're going, you might have the last of its kind, which might be worth something in 30-40 years when gasoline isn't even available anymore.

If you plan on modifying it and driving it hard (I hope you do), don't even bother looking it up. If it does so happen to be the last one ever built, you'll want to kill yourself in the future that you passed up $50,000 because you wanted a few boltons.
So, do you have that pig yet? Who cares if it's the last one, you're doing an exhaust and tune at least or I will come down there and ***** slap you.
That has to be a ***** waiting for it to be transported, like, what, 4,000 miles? I'd be all nervous and ****.

Someone from Mitsu just posted a list of dealers that still had new IXs a couple weeks ago. There were probably around 2-3 dozen dealers off memory. I know there are a couple new ones in Chicago still.
