That really sucks. I would definitely see how much buy back is. I am sure there is a decent amount of parts to be sold off of it if you are up to it.

Pretty much not necassary at all. Have you read any of the OP's posts?? He seems to fully acknowledge his mistake, and he lost his car, I think the internet bashing punishment is pretty juvenile.

How in the heck is that going to cost you any money.....for the last year I've owned the evo I've seen countless evo wrecks and even people dying....and not once did my insurance company say...."oh now that these other people have damaged their cars your insurance is gonna go up"

Whatever insurance co. you have must be as ridiculous as you

yea the insurance will pay off the car.they haven't told me exactly how much but i'll get atleast a couple grand out of it. i bought the car last year from a dealer, so i had plenty of payments to go. i only had a sore back that day but it was okay the next morning.
thanx for all the positive comments guys.

I think what grillpt is trying to say is that he has a perfect driving record and that he uses only non legal metal studded tires for the snow.

OK, OK, OK
Its not that I'm not glad that he's not hurt, which I am. I don't want to see anyone getting banged up, it just that we all know better. It's like the #1 rule. None of us want to see these cars in the scrap yard, and yes it angers me to see another one on its way. This is one of the main contributors to us paying such high insurance rates.

bhamEVOguy: I'm glad your OK, and that we can all argue what an a$$&^%* I am, just next time get a set of snows, they don't need to be studded.

The reason the car was on the road was because
a) it is my daily driver or atleast was
b) it was just starting to snow while i was heading home.
it was raining pretty hard.

now dont tell me u dont drive ur car in the rain either.

i do realise i made a mistake but aint nothing gonna change that.

If u feel that cussing in this thread will make u feel better and will make ur insurance rates go down, then go ahead knock urself out
