advice please

I had my car ecutek remapped 2 weeks ago along with, better panel filter, decat, uprated fuel pump and it made 334bhp,the mapper was hoping to see around 350 bhp,he said it was down to a poor stock downpipe causing the restrictiveness and preventing the trbo from spooling up freely....
So yesterday i decided to take the Hardpipe off to give it a polish the one that runds from intercooler by airfilter to throttle body and i found quite a large hole in it about 3cm by 3mm,so knowing that was the problem i today got it welded up.
I rang the mapper it took it too but hes away until january the 8th,so now im wondering because the car was mapped with this hole in it,and now ive sealed it up am i likely to cause damage to the engine by driving it between now and when i can get the guy to check the afr's and tweek the map if need be?would it be running lean now?

3cm x 3cm? I'm suprised you were able to hold any boost on the first tune. Yes you will need to be retuned. Stay out of boost until it's tuned or put the stock map back on the car.

You basically had a pretty big boost leak and your turbo was working overtime to compensate for it. I can't see you making alot of boost with a hole that big.

You will be running pig rich now more than likely, don't be supprised if you start throwing check engine lights due to fuel trims being out of range.

Actually, It will run lean under boost and rich at idle if it was tuned with a hole like that. With the leak it would have been running rich under boost (blowing air out) and lean at idle (sucking air in) but now it's the opposite if the AFR was tuned with the leak.

Well, I would agree with the above posters, put the stock map back on if you can and stay out of boost. I honestly don't know how the tuner didn't realize there was a problem when he kept having to compensate for boost loss.

He cant put the stock map back on he has an EcuTek Flash. Damn man seriously DONT DRIVE IT! No it wont be safe to drive at all. and for the cost of Ecutek in europe why dont you toss it and just get an AEM EMS? I know its not the perferred UBER expensice M800 but it is still an awsome unit and can be had for cheap here on evom.
