OBD II Scanner

Looking to buy an OBD II Scanner, but I don't know much about them. I searched but couldn't really find the info I was looking for.

Can anyone send me a link to where I could read more about the different types, or could someone explain and help me find a good scanner.

If you have an OBD II post up the model and let me know if you like it

Thanks

Nick

Meh, if im on the road, ill just drive to Autozone. When im at home, I use my laptop/tactrix cable. If you are always close to those two items, you will never need to buy one.

Yeah, I bought the $50 one at advance auto. It shows the code, lets you clear it and comes with a little booklet that explains all the codes. That's really all you need, if you don't go the tactrix route...

it's this one but it was on sale when I got it for $49.99.
