http://www.aspecproducts.com/images.asp?theid=16163

Comes with a warrany against cracking and saves almost 10 pounds off the stock exhaust mani! I should be in the mid 2700's in AX trim by the middle of the season . . .

what's your estimated gains with weight savings to equivalent hp gains? somewhere i heard every 100lbs off a car is about the same as gaining 10hp in regards to acceleration.?. anyone have a basic formula for something like that?

i do appreciate lightness...i've grown up around 1100lb classic minis and weight is not their friend.

Wow that header is expensive.Save 5 pounds for $1300+ you must make more money than you can spend.Thats highway robbery where Im from. That amount is just under what I spent in total parts/tune for a 70whp/70wtq gain over base run. Youre a beast At least you get to boast about being 1 of the lucky 399 people to own one.

I remember hearing that every 100lbs should shave off about .1 in the 1/4. Unofficial

Yes, I am a beast .

True, for a $$/# comparison there are probably other things I could do to lose weight. Heck, I could lose 70# just off my own fat a$$. It is not about the power increase either, as I doubt it will show significant increases over the ported stock mani I have now. A little part of it is just for the "bling" factor. Titanium header, titanium downpipe, titanium cat-delet, titanium cat-back . . .

Also, for the class I race in there are not that many things that are allowed to be changed. I'm at the point now that every pound I take off the car is getting more and more expensive. . . .

BTW, it saves ~ 10 # from the stock manifold. . .

Hi Guys
I hope nobody scare when read the weigth of my two evos .
I think mine race evos are the lightest ever build in the world:
The first is based on the evo VIII chassis and the weight is 934 Kg (2057 Lbs)
The second is based on evo VI chassis and the weight is 868 Kg (1911 Lbs)
For get this target a lot of work was done on the chassis , a very large cutting of metal sheet, for have a very stiff frame I used the roll cage reinforced with more tubes in the strategic points.
All the body kit is made in carbon fiber , the following list of parts totally weight. 15 Kg ( 33 Lbs):
front and rear fenders, front and rear doors, front and rear bumpers, bonnet, trunck and hood.
All the brakes ( front and rear, are with carbon fiber rotors and pads, front are 328mm with monobloc brembo 8 pot caliper ( coming from Indy car brake set); rear are 280mm with monobloc brembo 6 pot caliper ( coming from F 1 car brake set)
I'm sorry for my poor english.
