Mike1023 Rebuild for stock turbo record of 2008!
That is super pricey for just a few pounds on a stock turbo car. Its almost pointless to keep the car stock turbo much longer after he runs 10's. Its a fully gutted/lightened race car thats used on the street
. The car seems confused, likes it's lost it's perspective. Maybe its just my difference in opinion in order of modification, metaphorically it seems like the stock turbo is held on by a thread. Just put a 35R on it with the built motor and run mid 9's all day.
As always I wish you nothing but good luck Mike.

thanks for the luck and also i know you think and well maybe most think im crazy for what im doing, but if you really think about it there is still a lot of things to do to make my et go down. such as more weight and stiffen up car. will deff cut those times down. try and make more power also will help. but for example look at say a mustang you have 500hp with every thing else stock. goes what maybe mid 11s, now you have a 500hp mustang with full works like lighten, coil overs, this and that stiffin up cases and what not. and it goes low 10s maybe 9s. so in all and all i just want to see how much i can go with stock turbo and i will not stop in till im happy with what i did. and also anything i do and later on when i go to a diff turbo, the car will already be setup for it.
. After 08 that bish better have a big o' turbo !
I don't think you're crazy. I just wouldn't do that myself to my car IF it were still a street car (i.e. Doing more than just going out to race/street race). We're both trying for the same goal, Im just not willing to gut out my street car because I like to be able to take people to the track with me, go on road trips, drive everyday, etc. Leave the gutting for my race car

on other note i have not had my car for about almost a year now so if i got throw a year like that i think i can pretty much say lets go ball all out now LOL. and believe me i still take the car on road trips and its a way fun road trip car. good gas millages and also lots and lots of room for bags and what not lol.
Well guys sorry to keep every one in the dark has been kind of crazy with a bunch of things so kind of been delayed but tonight is the night that the car is getting shipped up to the shop. i will have photos of the trip for all tomorrow morning or noon time. thank you.
As i told you all i will have some update photos for you so here they are. And it is time for the car to move out, we make a night move so no one see were it goes HEHE. And as you can see this is what happens to a car when it sites around for almost a year and does not move. not to nice car going to need a lot of mclovin.

WOW! good luck with the new build. I'm sure you've already thought of this but a carbon fiber driveshaft couldn't hurt either. I like the fact that you want to stick with the stock turbo.
All this talk is making me want to start stripping my car down

Remember to replace the oil cooler. It would be a shame to build a new motor only to destroy it because a piece of metal was hiding in there and found it's way into yout new engine. I have seen it more than once.
