as an fyi on the following dealer, I called them to inquire about there msrp on the evo. they had it msrp's at 33,000 for a lighning yellow with sunroof. Even though they say they sell at msrp they have inflated the msrp by about $3000 which is the markup most dealers in georgia charge.

I stopped by a while back and saw that yellow on the showroom floor with the Ralliart add-ons aswell as the others on the lot with the $8k markup. Ferdie and Armen were nice guys trying to make that sale. Not well informed about the EVO, but I just nodded my head in agreement to whatever...

After a month I still see those 2 yellows are still you on your lot. No moving eh? But all can't be that bad cause I saw a Red and Blue come and go within a week there recently... Maybe i'll come back in later this year for an evo, maybe not....

 

Can't any one answer a SIMPLE question?

I've been trying to decide between the EVO and the STi(A current 02 WRX owner) and I decided to visit the local dealership here in Tampa.

They had a silver EVO in the showroom and I quickly cut to the chase asked what would need to be done to take ownership. I was told it would take $40,000. I replied by pointing out to them them I was just down the road at Mastro Subaru and I would be able to purchase an STi for sticker. The reply was that the STi was not this car and this is the car from the movie and that this car has superchargers and buttons that add 10% more power with a nice and rude overtone to the whole conversation.

I'm checking with the dealership in Brandon this week.

If you're in the Austin area of Texas check out Maxwell Mitsubishi. Apparently they are the #2 Mitsubishi dealership in the nation. Anyway, I got my Evo for $30,399 out the door, that's almost at invoice. Great working with them, very professional.
