malloy in woodbridge upped there markup to 8000, i am still the only one to get an evo from there at msrp...

 

I should go down there tomorrow and **** with them!

 

they have a yellow one they want 38000, apparently they just bought 3 more from other dealerships, because they can't keep them on the lot more than a couple of weeks.....i don't know how with a markup, they wanted 35k for mine i told them no

 

Many of you have seen the pix of my wrecked EVO, and last Friday I got my new car from San Rafael Mitsubishi, one of the advertisers on this forum.

I had a great experience getting my car from them. The owner of the dealership, Snorre, personally found me a new car within a week, exactly to my spec, and only charged me MSRP, which is somewhat of a rarity in the Bay Area. He even had to swap front bumpers with another car in stock because I wanted a car without the license plate hole drilled.

The parts department has been great as well, with good discounts on the parts I've bought.

The blue EVO in front of Stohlmann Mitsubishi in Tysons Corner, with the sunroof and small wing, followed my wife home last night (with me in it) and now lives in my driveway. Kudos to Monica (Salesperson) and Dani (Sales Manager) for all their patience. Stohlmann still sells at MSRP (or maybe a little less if you ask nicely). Nothing but positives here. To all those still looking for theirs the quickly replaced the blue one with a yellow one out front. They seem to be the only ones in the area with the small wing.
One question, how do you keep it below 5K rpm during breakin????? Once over 3K it just wants to go!!!!!!

I wanted to share my elation and joy of picking up my first new car this past weekend. Despite the 6 hour delay during my flight over to Chicago, the 10.5 hour drive back (from Milwaukee to Cleveland), and the almost 600 miles I've already put on the car, I'm a proud and happy owner of a silver evo (sunroof/high wing).

I would like to highly recommend Max Madsen Countryside for their professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, and no hassle service. I walked in and out of there in less than an hour and was happy to find my soon to be car was in pristine condition; garaged, clean, and only 7 miles on it!

Also a props goes out to Porcaro Mitsubishi in Racine, WI. They helped me find out more information about my car, reassured me about Max Madsen, and were very professional and courteous even after they found that I was going with Max Madsen for my purchase.

I would take a look at either of these dealers, for both a good price and good service!

Despite the fact I still dish out 8% in sales tax, I'm happy to join the ranks of an Evo owner.
