MSRP Dealer Listing
A problem California residents may have when purchasing a new vehicle out of the state of California:
Q:What should a California resident look for when buying a new vehicle from another state?
A: California residents are prohibited from importing, purchasing, or leasing a new vehicle from another state, unless the vehicle was manufactured for sale in California and the Environmental Protection Agency label certifies the vehicle has California smog equipment. California considers a new vehicle to be any vehicle with less than 7,500 miles on the odometer at the time it is purchased or aquired.

Having lived in San Diego at one time, I appreciate concern over emisions.
All Mitsubishi vehicles are 50 state emissions certified, so you should have no problem meeting the CA emissions standards.

Hi Garry,
If the EPA stickers say that the car is certified to be sold in all 50 states or mentions that it can be sold in the state of California, then the above quote off the CA DMV site is not an issue.
Thanks for clarifying that.

Is it possible (when someone has the time) for someone to compile, one last time a complete listing of dealerships willing to sell the new Evo VIII at a price of MSRP? The reason I ask is simple, so myself and others can walk into our rip off dealerships and give them concrete evidence of dealerships willing to do the right thing, and do right by their customers. I really think some of us may have a fighting chance if the list were a little bit stronger. Please help!
Thank you in advance!

There should be a new listing that add only by the moderator
with verified dealers....
status on tuttle-click irvine mitsu this weekend...just checking to see if it checks with anybody else in the know. take into account that i just strolled in, asked for a brochure, and talked with a sales guy and manager.
they said they had qty (6) $1k deposits down, and that they were looking at $3.5k-5k markup (also got some line about how most "regional dealers" were marking up more in the range of $7.5k. so...i'm assuming that a handful of those 6 are on this board...
what's the scoop guys?

Im just looking for any information on arrival dates, mark ups packages anything, in the western PA and surrounding are? MSRP is gonna be hard to come by i know that, but can anyone give me a dealers name who is being at least a little more fair than the ones ive talked to???
