Just be mature enough to make a smart decision. Don't let ones immature nature to make a decision on something you can't afford. If you're you're willing to commit to the evo, be prepared to work hard for it. I work 60-70 hrs. a week and I appreciate what the car is worth. 12K isn't worth it for a salvaged evo. You're not even considering the maintenance costs, fuel, insurance, etc. Also you're going to have to pay a lot more including state tax. Good luck.

 

It really doesn't matter whats wrong with it now. it could look, smell and drive brand new, the fact is its a SALVAGE. If you want to sell it later it will be next to impossible because it doesn't carry any actual value. not to be confused with street value. What i want to know is if the insurance company he talked knows its salvage. I don't mean to be a bummer but you have to rationalize with something like this. Trust me i almost made that mistake once when i was younger.
