It most cases no

Just adds weight.

What really stiffens up a chassis?
A cage, front and rear strut bars and fender braces in most cases

that I know, just wasn't sure if underbracing works on our cars, Mine is my DD and I don't wanna install a roll cage, but if the underbracing has similar benefits as a roll cage, then i can do that for now. I also own a suburu and know the bracing is almost pointless as they build their unibodys like a rollcage, most car companies would have about 2 folds of metal in the pillars, subaru has eight. Not sure if mitsubishi builds them the same way...

I think some under bracing would help, yes it will add weight but if you jack up the car using the front center jack point you can see the car flexing under its own heavy weight. some fender braces and under bracing would stiffen that up. the rear seems pretty striff though as is.

I have the GT spec 4 point brace, sitting new in a box if anyone's interested, but in all fairness it doesn't seem necessary..

These would be the first braces I would buy looking at how the car flexes.

Not sure if the under bracing is really needed though.
