Clock and headunit not powering up????

Just yesterday my rear left speaker went out, so I decided to fix the problem. When I fixed the wiring for it, i turned on the ignition and heard the RL speaker kind of give a bass thud so i assumed it was back on.

Next thing i know my headunit Or clock is not turning on! Any ideass???

My car still turns on and headlights, turn signals, high beams, etc is in proper order its jsut the head unit and the clock. I already tried disconnecting the battery and retrying but they still did not turn on.

Please helppp

It sounds like one of the interior fuses.

The fuse for that should be in the fusebox under the hood. It's in a yellow sleeve with 2 10A fuses in it.

Also just for reference next time, always disconnect the negative terminal when working on any car wiring/electronics to avoid shorts.

I had the exact same problems and this is the correct fuse! Getting them out of that yellow sleeve can be a pain.

I second (third, fourth?) that it sounds like a fuse. On a side note, it's always good to have a test light around to check fuses. you can pick them up cheap and they are very handy.
