funny, you think you had it bad, i bought an evo8 with a tilton twin disc 6 puck clutch kit. drove it for 4 days n the thing started slipping. took it out put an act race/street setup which was $800, then found out the flywheel for the tilton wont fit the act so ordered a act lightweight flywheel. had to take the trans back off because we then noticed that the tilton doesnt use the clutch fork or pivot ball, ordered the pivot ball, clutch fork an all accessories from John shephard then put the trans back up again. this took 2 weeks i was hella pissed off.

to get myself even more pissed after spending all this money is the fact that i called tilton after my car was fixed n they said they would send me a new pressure plate n twin disc setup for $800 as long as i mailed the old twin disc back. yeah i was so pissed.

n now i gotta deal with lock out from the act, but it drives good when driving normal. that sure welcomed me to the world of the mitsubishi evolution
