I must agree man, just stop messing with it and tow it already. Not only do you not have the knowledge, but you dont have the tools. If you atleast had the tools, you could just follow step by step instructions, but you dont. So just tow it already.
And for the AEM answer. I dont wanna start a AEM war, but AEM do "lose" their tune. AEMs EMS componets are not the highest quality, meaning they, and their files uploaded, can become corrupt, and just not function properly. Why do you think you see so many cars with AEM in it, having to adjust their startup.

I had the same problem with my car when it had a bad tune in it. Some times it would die, sometimes it would start, rev to 1000-2000rpms then die, sometimes it would start, rev to 1000, then die. Changed the tune, fixed the issue. I doubt you should have your MAF connected with the AEM EMS installed!

He doesn't need to check any "cam sensors". He has driven 350 miles, been dynotuned and driven home.

TTP has installed over 200 sets of Lancer Evolution camshafts.

There is nothing to miss except the fact that you missed that the car has driven 350 miles. If there was an error in the cam sensors it would not have made it to the dyno, tuned, and across the whole state of FL.

His loose battery terminals from Billet Designs already arc'd the chassis and fried his eeprom chip in the AEM unit. Who is to say it didn't do it again.

I just had crazy starting problems too. It took me a week to fix it all...Between work and stuff.

First off, I fouled like 3 sets of spark plugs trying to start the car.
My coil packs were fried from a short. Because your not suppose to unclip anything w/o the battery negative terminal off. I was lazy.

You have to pull the spark plugs each time to figure out whats going on. My plugs were oily and black. They also had lots of fuel on them. So I knew it was no spark.

The stock battery couldn't hold its charge anymore either. I tried charging it ect...I replaced with an Optima. It was time for it. I knew it had to be battery because the radio resetted a couple times. And the voltage was only 12 and dying.

I was soo scared it was the AEM. So hooked up the laptop and see the voltage from the ignition. They were really low. Like 0.5-1.0 something like that. So I ordered some 9 coils and installed them.

Then my next attempt it doesn't work. It's not until I installed the clutch pedal switch back on til it started. I had the sensor unplugged for 3 years w/o any problems. I'm a little bit lazy so I don't like stepping on the clutch to start the car. Now, I have too again.

I also removed the HKS DLI II. The red dot was on solid, but I had to eliminate any extra variables. I'm going to reinstall it to check if it still works. I believe it does though.

Goodluck..
