I had a V1 and an X50 Passport, the V1 is superior.

I was considering the STI and V1 too. I haven't had any PO show up yet not that I want to but just to see if it actually works. Mine's mounted high near the rear view mirror.

Aussie- The ones at walmart are the cheap ones... I'm sure they'll work ok too but according to my search, you will get better performance for radar that are $300 or more.

ShamelessCookie- I should have looked on eBay before I bought mine... could of save myself $58. But it was worth it since I save myself $80 anyway. Either way, if I bought it from eBay I could save $138

Haven't have any pic out yet.... Drive safe

The V1 or the Escort 9500 would've been the way to go. If you have good luck with the cobra, you should post a follow up review in a couple months (or weeks if you have a heavy foot). I've owned a Talon, and an Eclipse, and if there's one thing I've learned about 4G63 owners, we can all appreciate the concept of saving a couple bucks.
