How do you get vacuum to the wastegate? You should see only pressure if it's connected to the turbo outlet. If the blades are damaged you should get the turbo rebalanced at least and maybe rebuilt while it's off.

Bump for what?

Your turbo is damaged get it replaced, Your WG isnt working get a new one. My guess is your WG was probably destroyed by pieces of compressor wheel.

Then loosen the clamp, pull the intake pipe out slightly and re-tighten the clamp. Get a longer silicon coupler if there isn't room to do this.

Did you even disassemble the W/G to check the diaphram?

Forums help, but we can't read your car's mind. You need to take stuff apart and then ask questions

Seriously man, what do you want us to do? People have given you all these suggestions. Now you need to go check things out, ie take the wastegate off and try another one or rebuild that one etc. Not trying to be harsh etc, but we can only help you so much over the internet.

You have a piece of metal actually in the wastegate not in the actuator? Your turbo is trashed if that's the case.

They are thinking that you are saying "bump" for an answer to ^, instead of saying "I found a piece of metal in my WG, by the way bump for any other suggestions or answers to the OP"

Everyone chill out and just help him fast posting sometimes mixes up wording and people take it wrong, I understood him though.

Read the thread again, it is simple incorrect usage/placement of his wording which is being made into a big deal. "Mere Mortals", who ever said I was a GOD? Explain how to take off the wastegate, for what purpose? That has nothing to do with this thread. Stop wasting my time with your smart*** comments.

Sorry Pure Playaer for having to answer to him jacking up the thread.

Dewd seriously help us understand if you indeed understand yourself. Where the hell is the piece of metal is it by the actuator or in the wastegate at the flapper? I don't think you can "take off the wastegate" maybe he took off the O2 collector and saw the wastegate,? does he mean the wastegate actuator arm? The wastegate is in the hotside, how do you see it? I'm sorry if I just got lost here it's not just Pure Playaer that got me confused. Sorry if I'm too damn literal for you but the only way I can understand this is if we are on the same page using the same terms for the same parts.

P.S. I read the frickin thread the whole thread.
