I want the do-luck lip, but dont want it in carbon. I rather just buy a much cheaper poly urethane or ABS and just paint it!

Let me know if something like this is available. I want the lip to match the color of the car...& prefer a cheaper price than $300 for a lip of all things.

I think the D1 is the Do-Luck copy.

 

oh wow...but that's the same price as the ebay ones after shipping! for the same price, i'd rather get a carbon one!

 

none of that poly for me hit a rock and its cracks carbon FTW

 

just paint on top of the carbon......

 

^^^WHAT!!!!!!!!i ran into a ditch with a poly urethane bumper and all it did was bend...............i dont know what size the rock was but poly urethane for me worked out GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

this carbon poly stuff though on the other hand cracks from rock chips that fly from trucks on the highway...

 

Carbon and fiberglass are much more prone to damage than poly ... I agree

just get the cf one...its not that much of a price diff...apr has a good one..

 

Do they make urethane kip kits for our car i havent seen one yet. Might have to break out some mold making materials again.

I agree with the OP. I would like a stock-material front lip.

A urethane piece will sustain and live longer than a CF piece will.

That being said, I havn't seen alot of CF lips looking terrible. But I cannot see a piece that is rigid (CF, fiber) lasting better than a properly made urethane piece that is flexible.

 

apr makes a bottom lip for our cars that isnt cf

 

I believe the greddy and voltex lips are polyurethane

 

The Greddy is urethane, the Voltex is FRP.
