Zero boost. help

I am having trouble with my evo 9. I cannot build any boost. Goes up to 0psi and holds. I have a CEL for the second O2 sensor that I am planning on fixing soon. When I do a boost leak test I pump it up to 20psi and it holds it. There are not any weird smells or additional smoke coming from the exhaust. Is the car in some kind of limp mode because of the CEL? Any ideas? Also I am just running wastegate pressure. I do not have the stock boost solenoid hooked up. I just have a vacuum line running from the wastegate to the nipple on the j pipe.

Why do you have a line running from the wga to the turbo nipple? Why would you do that?

Anyway, base wastegate pressure is 11psi. It's almost impossible to only hit 0 boost.

wow why did you do that?????

if you dont have a MBC then hook it up like it was...........if you do have a MBC then connect the both to the BC.

I bet you it will work once you hook it up the stock way. Plus when you disconnect the stock solenoid you need to cap off the ends to the solenoid.

The stock solenoid was bypassed because I was planning on installing an ebc very soon. The previous owner threw away the factory vacuum lines.

I am pretty sure if you bypass the factory boost control it would still boost. That is what I am having trouble with.

Found the problem, for some reason the cotter pin fell out of the wastegate actuater arm and the wastegate was basically not staying closed.
