Seats, what are you guys using??

I have seen Jarrod from Buschur post this same thread but he was looking for Racing seats. I am looking for Reclinable or "Street Car" seats. All of what i have read talks about how small some of the seats are and that won't due for me. I am 6'0'' and 235lbs (I am a weight lifter) and the stock seats push my shoulders forward and make for an.....awkward ride...Anyone out there have any experience with seats for a guy my size? I mean the stock seats fit my waist but the shoulder area....not so much. So lets hear it guys what do you think ?

The sparco Evo II or III should be ok if you are looking for a fixed seat. not sure about Sparco reclinable seats

I'm using a Recaro Speed. I have a small frame so it fits me perfect. Its reclinable, and very comfy.

Alright people i am looking for "USEFULL" information, not how you lost weight to fit in a seat or what a great chair "FILL IN THE BLANK" is for a smal frame. Anybody out there have any good info for me ?

Oh sorry I totally misread what you said earlier. There are a few seats that are made for people with a larger build. I'll look them up and get back to you

Its the internet, people can say whatever they want. With an attitude like that who knows if you'll get help.

depending on the year of your car i believe the 03-05 seats are narrower at the shoulders then the 06 seats

+1 on the sparco seats as previously stated.

Why don't you find a store that carries seats and sit in them?

I'm 6'2 210, use spacro evo seats not the 2 or 3 the small one and its pretty comfortable. I like all the *** foam and padding great for longer drives.

SWOLN and MIGUEL, stop being so imatture. You obviously did not give me any helpfull information and then you get mad when i tell you that your information was not even in the spirit of assistance. If you do not know how to stick with the information being requested then keep your posts to yourself and stop trying to bolster your thread counter.

Fatcircles, thanks for the help man. From what i can tell the Evo 3 is the best seat out there for someone my size but i have seen issues with people ttalking about the shoulder portion (or the B zone) hitting their seatbelt mount.

Wow, for the last couple of post thanks for the info. I am in Arizona and there is a place called Ultra Performance in Tucson that has seats but not a very wide selection of them in their stock but all can be ordered. I am more then willing to go up and sit on some seats to figure out which ones are best but i doubt they are gonna order some in to take up room in their stock just so i can sit on them.

I was looking at the Sparco Evo 3 because they are the biggest Sparco offers but that seat is a fixed seat and i think i will have to change my seat belt over to a harness. Any of you guys know?
