dent in exhaust piping

dent in exhaust piping

i have a dent in my exhaust piping between the cat and muffler. its not dented in too much but its there. how much will this effect the exhaust airflow? its about 2" long.

It won't make a difference unless it is all crunched up. As long as it has like 75-80% airflow it will be ok.

length really dosent matter. its depth u need to worry about. how far in is the dent. ur better off taking a pic and posting it

I Don't think your gonna have a problem. I put a dent in my on purpose, but a very tiny one.

You most likely arent even going to suffer and power loss from that dent! The exhaust is oversized as it is.

that is fine. I had to dent my pipe to go around the rear end in my evo III so it would stop making noise
