Sad day indeed. Look on the brighter side, you're gonna be getting something much better. I wish my turbo died on me, my wife would then let me buy another turbo/kit.

Thanks for everyones input on the thread and I guess that is the brighter side.....a new turbo. However, guys I had another guy look at the car and he said it was the internal wastegate making the noise and something about a valve inside.

Whats up Justin I have not heard from you in awhile.........But yeah things happen what can I say I just didnt plan on getting my bigger turbo this soon. I really didnt even have a chance to put the 9 turbo to the test before she went only using 19 psi (so sad-lol). I have been trying to call Kasey ever since he finsihed my car and I have gotten a hold of him twice and thats it, its like he never answers his phone. But anyway give me a call sometime man

umm your turbo had no oil, it was the installer's fault - I'd take it back to him,and if it was you, I guess you manage to justify a bigger turbo!

Well the guy that installed it is well known and he does a good job when working on Evos. So im not going to say that it was his fault directly because thats something I dont know. However, I feel like he did everything right as far as I know.

sorry to hear that but at least now you have a reason for a bigger turbo upgrade.

Yes I do now have a reason for one but to be honest I really wanted to get more out of the 9 turbo before all this happened. My plans were to run about 22 psi on 93 and about 26 or so on race gas and see what she does then. I was really looking forward to it but o well things happen for a reason. Now im trying to find a new or good used 3065 turbo.

Guys I was doing some more research and I came across the FP3582HTA Turbo. What do people think about this turbo vs. the 3065?

Yeah, he's a busy man. Pretty hard to get a hold of sometimes.

I won't say it's the installer's fault, but I also won't say he's not responsible for it. He has installed many turbos, clutches, cams, and has even put together a few motors. Might be a freak accident or he could have forgot something. Hard to say.

Well I think thats it pretty crazy that someone cant pick up the phone in 3 months time and give someone 5 mins of there time. About the turbo things happen for a reason and accidents happen everyday. So im not really going to hold Kasey liable for it unless I have proof that he screwed up. So I will just move on to something better.......3065.
