evo sold to top level performance
Buddy of mine got the exact same color/year. Quick question, does your first-to-second gear shifting feel like it could be alot smoother? Heh, I don't know exactly how to describe it because I've never actually driven it, but it does make the car jerk. Is it the car or the driver?
Your baby is in good hands. I saw her yesterday. New engine on the stand and ready to go in. Now we have 2 BBY's in the shop. Yours may end up being faster but mine is still going to be the best looking car in the shop. lol. My 500whp evo is starting to look like chump change compared to the rest of the evo fleet at toplevel.
Good choice on the VW, the MK5 GTI's are great cars! Did you get the 6mt or DSG?
To the nay sayers, the GTI and Evo are completely different animals. Both great cars in much different ways.
BTW, thats very cool that your Evo found a good home

I actually love the GTi, you made a good choice. It's not a race car by any means, but its a nice car that rides well.
My biggest ***** with VWs is the VAG software you need to pull codes on it, well that and the fact they tend to do whatever they can to avoid recalls.
Enjoy your new car
