That wing was a factory option on the 2003 models and I almost got it myself. I always thought it was good from a styling point. Large wing is good because of downforce. Small wing keeps the back end from being so damned boxy but offers no downforce advantage. For a daily driven car and a mature owner, I think the small wing is the best option.

The car looks GREAT!

I'll be posting a "for-sale" thread in the for-sale section soon and will include a bunch of pics. I need to give he car a bath this weekend. Then it's officially going up for sale on EvoM, eBay and AutoTrader.

And, yes, go CAVS! They're starting to play like a championship team (finally).

wanna make a swap, i got a 2006 eclipse GS 45k miles, it has new blistaks tires and $1200 Konig Unknown wheels along with a light kit underneath the car.
I already own an evo but wouldn't mind having a 2nd as my DD.

I sold my IX for $26,500 with 16k miles. It had a flash, drop-in, and walbro pump.

I agree. Back to stock and I should be able to get close the KBB & NADA value of $27.5K

Then I can sell other stuff which will be easy. I won't have any problem at all selling the RGIIs I've already got a local guy who wants the wheels and selling the brake rotors will be pretty easy too.

I'll likely put it back to stock. I currently have 3 guys talking to me about buying the car as it stands. So, we'll see how that goes. If they don't buy, it's back to stock.

At least the engine, tranny, exhaust and intake haven't been touched. Someone will surely want the car for that simple fact.

That sounds just about right for a IX in good condition without too many miles. If I go back to stock, and since mine has less miles and the Sun Sound & Leather package, I should be able to get somewhere around KBB value of $27.5K
