It's a sad day at my house, but I'm deciding to sell my Evo IX. Owning an Evo was on my "list of 10 things to do before I die" but it's come time to get something a little bit better as a daily driver and more functional.
Anyhow, I'm trying to gauge what I should sell it for on AutoTrader or eBay (or possibly list it on EvoM).
It's a Tarmac Black Evo IX with SSL package. Has less than 9,500 miles. I'm the original owner. Never been tracked (no drag, no autox, no road course). I've launched the car twice (had to see what it felt like)
The good thing is that the engine/tranny/intake/exhaust have NEVER been touched. My car's still a "virgin" in that respect
I'll be selling the car with a some suspension, wheel and brake upgrades (I was going to start taking the car to VIR this coming season).
- Advan RGII with the SBC finish (18x9 +29 GTR face) wrapped in Kumho Ecsta SPT tires (wheels and tires have only been on the car for about 2000 miles)
- Stoptech slotted brake rotors, Stoptech stainless lines, Hawk HPS pads and Motul 600 fluid (also only on the car for about 2000 miles)
- BC Racing coilovers (same as on the EvoM project Evo). These have been on the car for about 5000 miles.
Other than that, the car is stock and in wonderful condition.
What do you guys think I could sell her for?

So... there's only 9 other things you want to do before you die? Hey man, you're on a good track, you owned it, and drove it for almost 10k miles. As for selling it, look at KBB and look at other listings and remember the laws of supply and demand. The Evo is a very tricky item right now.

I swapped out the stock wing since I have to drive clients around on a regular basis and the big wing just didn't present the right image. I still wanted an Evo, but had to ditch the big wing.

Yeah, the other 9 include visiting the Playboy mansion, jumping from an airplane...stuff like that
Yeah, I checked KBB and Edmunds and NADA and a stock IX like mine would fetch somewhere around $28K. So, with the wheels, coilover and brakes I'm guessing I could get around $30K. Heck, the wheels alone are worth over $2K

well if you have the stock wheels put those on and sell the advans separately. take no less then 26k. remember even kick *** after market parts wont up the value unfortunately. good luck dude. its a nice lookin car
yea, no way you're getting 30K for it. You'll fetch a lot more money if you have ALL the stock parts back on. Plus, your aftermarket goodies will sell quickly online. I deal with this kind of stuff all day at work. I'd list it a little high, maybe 27-28K and that'll give you a little negotiating room.
