Evo IX Training Video?
Was wondering, since I saw so many threads talking about Mitsu training videos for the X, was there ever one for the IX? I also heard that for some who purchased IX's, there were forced to watch a certain video, (apart from my original request for training video -unless they're the same?) Anybody have some input as to where I can find these for keeps-sake?
With all the "I just hit a pole" threads on this forum, maybe some should have watched this video. Was this something that should have come with the purchase of the IX? If so, I was ripped.
From what I remember, the Dealer had the video and showed it to buyers before handing over the keys. I believe this was back in '03 when the cars first hit the US.
I'd say try your local dealer ... they might still have it.

hahah i had to watch this video when i brought mine back in december 03. there was just some guy walking and talking about the features of the car. like the abs for the brembos, and how the car would feel under acceleration due to the turbo. preety stupid, but funny it was like 15-20 minutes long

I remember that video!
The dealer loaned it to me before I bought my TB evo 8. It wasn't a video on how to drive, but more an attempt to familiarize Americans with the racing heritage that spawned the Evo. At the time, I was a sponge for details on the car, so I didn't mind the relatively basic functional overview. I do however, remember the explanation of the AWD system while a driver was squawling around some parking lot cones --- and then there were the Paul Walker 2F2F promo DVD's they gave us when we signed the paperwork and took the keys!
What a set up!
