I have the Tanabe Concept G blue and I don't find it to be that loud. I don't drive my car much and when I do I always notice the clutch feel as compared to my truck but not the exhuast.

I'm about to sell my Buschur TBE if you're looking for a Buschur exhaust.

buschur all the way...but since u already kind of riced your car out with the kit you might as well go with hks or something like that.....Not trying to pick...but Do u not like the simplicity of the evo from the factory..i think its the best lookin car ever from the factory. Just not a fan of body kits on a 35k car..maybe on a highschoolers civic but not a evo.

I've got the AMS 3 inch turbo back exhaust with HFC and I absolutely love it.

I'm not too keen on any exhaust that has a shiny coffee can looking muffler, so I had the canister on mine powdercoated black.

The sound is awesome and idle is just a purr. At WOT the exhaust sounds very angry, and quickly settles back down to civil as soon as you get off the gas. There's no droning or strange resonations at all. Fitment is perfect and it sits just right in the center of the bumper cutout.

That's another thing I'm not fond of on exhausts: The mad-JDM-yo sideways exit. That crap is retarded. So is an exuast that doesn't sit squarely in the cutout (a little too far to the left or right, or a little too far up or down).

Your body kit will likely change the length of the car, as it will probably shorten the rear a bit. Who knows what will work on your car if you put that thing on. You might just be better off getting a custom built exhaust by a local shop, unless you are willing to take a risk on something rubbing / melting / burning / discoloring your body kit.

I like my buschur exhaust, I have the magnaflow muffler.....has a nice tone and no highway drone and not overly loud unless you go wot, then it can cause some attention. Also sits square in the bumper cutout and the tip doest stick out past the bumper, nice and clean and I don't think it looks ugly - but I'm not a "if its not jdm, its crap!" fanboy so what do i know.

I want to get the rear section powder coated but haven't had the time or money to actually get it done.

Not calling you cheap, but powdercoating something the size of a muffler should cost about $40. Just for a reference.

i have that on my evo 9 for like a year plus... downpipe is 2.75 inches.. test pipe all the way to the back is 3 inches..
on idle it has this nice deep roar, on WOT,, cover your ears..

the tip of the exhaust will not be sticking out of your car (if you have the stock rear bumper)

looks wise.. looks stock, but performance wise.. all i can say is DAMN...
