If i were you i would go back to the guy and make him pay for the damage and give him a a$$ beating for hitting your car. Good luck with the insurance jacking up.

CPA5 Yeah...at least this guy was nice enough...and had enough of a conscience to leave his business card.

If all goes as planned his company's insurance will cover everything...I hope

yes you are lucky he was somewhat a "standup guy" and left you that info,( he couldve at least tried to find you though before he took off). i would get an attorney just in case. even if he is honest, his insurance company can be sheisty.

(i know from experience, ive been hit by drunk drivers, hit and runs, and a guy who ran a red light)

Well I chatted with the adjuster last night.....he is calling this guys company today...first he said he would contact the actual guy who must of hit the car...then call his company....my guess is that this guy was driving a company car....and this guy's business is not only in AZ but they have offices in Vegas too...so hopefully they are big enough and insured.

I should be finding out within the next couple of hours what the adjuster can work out.

I agree....very thankful this guy left his bs. card .....sometimes the Favor of the Lord is that your car will get hit....but someone steps up and claims responsibility!!!!

I'll keep it updated

That sucks!! My friend got rear ended in CA in his STi by some illegal immigrant and they tried* (emphasize tried) to take off. Which they didn't get very far considering they were in an 86' Accord with a Cobb Sti all over them on the phone with the local police. People are idiots. Atleast that guy left his info, could have been screwed with a hit and run type incident. Good luck on getting it all handled!

Update:

I had to personally get ahold of the hit n run guys' company owner myself...my insurance adjuster was struggling to get the job done...sometimes you got take matters into your own hands

so the owner of the company said his insurance would pay for all my damages

The place that is going to the work in Tucson is Vanderpools....after talking with the owner Jason...he said it won't be a problem to get me the SE lip out of it.....shoot that's the least I could get out of this situation...my car will be down for like 3 weeks probably.......I guess getting mitsu parts is a hassle.

The adjuster is going to meet with the body shop this monday and said he would forward me the pics...so I'll post the damage next week.

Everyone stay safe out there!!!

Yeah Definitely to the guy who left his card....I talked with him late yesterday afternoon and he sounded like a stand up kind of guy...obviously!

Once again Sh$t happens to allot of people....but when your outlook on life is to be thankful for everything...the good and the bad...then usually things work out in the end.....I'll say it again I'm thankful that Jesus decided to take my no good rotten life and turn it into something I could have never imagined
