whos evo did i just buy?

hey sold my red 03 evo in april of 06. but i i just won this honey on ebay. think i got a fairly good deal on it. the high mileage worries me a bit, but im wondering if anyone could help me find the guy who sold it to this dealership. it says it has 382 whp and 5000 in engine mods but im doubtful and would like to find some history on it. let me know what you guys think thanks!

Did you run a carfax and/or test drive it before actually winning the auction?

normally i would agree. and so would alot of other people who i was kind of hoping would outbid me but were too smart to. although i should say it does look to be fairly tastefully modded but im no expert. again the high mileage scares me but i did get it for under 16gs and it retail books at 22ish

I hope it works out for you, but like kaonashi is thinking, you should be prepared to invest some extra cash if it was beat on.

I think you got a good deal considering people on this site are still trying to sell their modded Evo VIII's for $23-25k (not that they'll get that much for them). Let us know if it really does have all the mods and the claimed horse power.

the carfax didnt look great but mine had been through way worse when i traded it in. these cars seem to have nasty tendancy of making people think they can drive better than they really can. trust me ive been there

i highly doubt it has cruise control. oddly enough the add for my first evo said that too. sheet metal is hard for me. i dont have a good enough eye. i do more machining, metal fab, & wrenchwork
