Identify this grinding noise...

I don't have a sound clip, but I can try to get one...

I get a grind from the right front pretty regularly.

1) It happens when starting to move from a standstill or while slowing down from a slow speed.

2) It is most apparent in the morning when I first drive the car, and does not happen every time.

3) It has happened both with clutch engaged and with it disengaged

4) It seems to be speed/wheel dependant

5) If I had to describe it what it sounds like, it sounds like a grinding gear although higher pitched

Thanks in advance!

Maybe from surface rust on the rotors?

I don't think it's that, but it could be rotor/brake related as I am in need of a brake job

Speed dependent could be your wheel bearing. Although a lot of moisture building up on your rotors could cause this noise. Does it go away when you use the brakes?

I bet you inner pads on one of your front wheel are down to the fellers and its scraping against your rotor
