I am looking to buy a stock evo 9 turbo from a member but i am unsure if i need to buy an install kit. FP has an install kit for their Green turbo which from the outside is an evo 9 turbo which would lead me to assume that i would need that kit in order to do the conversion. How true is this?

EDIT: Just to clarify this in going on a 2005 evo 8.

Yes you will need an EVO 9 turbo install kit for an EVO 8.I think bushur sells one as well.

All you really need is a IX outlet pipe. If you get the Buschur Kit which I got the only issue is that there is no nipple for a boost source on thier Outlet pipe. So you'll need to T the BOV line or drill the pipe and install a fitting.

to avoid having to "install a fitting" the FP version would suit my needs correct?
