Just for future reference, you might want to score both compressor and exhaust housings once you get it aligned properly so that if you ever take it apart again, you have a guide to use as reference when reassembling. The alignment pin is only there for alignment. It won't stop the rotation of the housings (hence why it was sheared off) and it is completely able to be lived without in a case such as yours.
