finish college first... thats like 4 years later haha, plus there will be something really awesome out in 4 years, but used evo's will be pretty cheap.

 

If you need something reliable to get you to and from work/school then your truck is a better bet than the Evo

If you just want an Evo because they're the awesomeness, then get one. College + Evo isn't really that hard, I did all my 3 years with the Evo with no problems (other than the car breaking down numerous times...)

 

I would say get it if you can pay it off at your age. Its not fun to finance a car and then have problems with it and then you go in more debt and more debt. If you can pay it off then your good. IMO

 

do what makes you feel best. Will be a lot while your in college and working but if your cmmitted then go for it, you won't regret it. I'm in high school and paying it all on my own. Also w/ the insurance i don't really think it matters it will still be expensive because your young until your like 24 i believe. Just because your like 19 or so and you may know you won't wreck it or get speeding ticket but the insurance looks at your age and our age is more likely to street race w/ an evo or go faster than the older guyys

 

by the way i'm on my parents insurance so that HELPS TONS!!!! be on your own and you will pay big, so make sure they let you on theirs

 

im on my parents insurance so its not real bad and there isnt a big tuner scene in WV and im not big on street racing. Honestly i know an evo isnt an extremely practical car for a college student but i think they are beautiful and i cant help loving them, i know most of you feel the same way and ive been drooling over them since 03 when i first saw one.

with the money ive put into the truck in the last few months i could have made monthly payments on an evo haha

anyway im gonna keep working on it and throw in some of the new positives of an evo i havent mentioned yet.

i never even thought about shooting a deer until the first time i hit one with my truck and dented the s*** out of my bumper...damn four leggeds

 

they are the dumbest animal on the planet. i stopped at a stop light in the middle of town and one ran full speed into the side of my truck and i got out fully planning on kicking it to death but it flopped around, got up, and blotted. had a nice dent in my door too.
