Thanx guys.
I would love to buy it back. Believe me, it wouldn't just be sitting here. Yes I did get the GAP. I'm glad the saleman talked me into it.

Has anyone here ever bought their wrecked EVO back, and about how much did you have to fork over?

I had a friend total a 03. They paid out 20K for it and he bought it back for 6K so they cut him a check for $14K. It depends on mileage though he had really low miles on it and probably insurance company and whoever they send out to look at it.

I really hate to say it, but it does look totaled due to the fact that the air bags deployed and it costs so much to buy the bags and install them. If you do buy it back check for any frame damage under the car, but I think its safe to say that there is none. Good luck and keep us posted.

That doesnt look good.. You will just have to wait and see what the insurance adjuster says. I hope its not totalled.... That would blow.

yeah, I saw that one, him and his dad was working on it together. Coming along pretty nice. I hope that I can afford to buy it back if they total it. If not, I'll just save up the car note money that I no longer have to pay, and just get another one. I don't like the X, so that is out of the question. Might be a sign to start my restoration of older cars. Who knows .

....but, Thanx everyone for the kind words. Greatly appreciated.

I don't think it looks that bad. How fast were you going when you impacted?
