I had a lil miss-hap on the way to work this morning.

I'm cool, the car...................not.
Waiting on Insurance Adjuster to come see it. Don't know what he'll do. Don't know if I would like it totalled or fixed or what. Would be nice to be without a note for a while. Even though I just got it, back.

All I see is another useless, USDM only, 21lb, 5mph 'crash beam' not doing anything to help the cars repair costs. Core support and fenders are gone. Leave it out next time - it looks cooler w/o it.

I've seen cars more beat up that were fixed. Probably have to check out the frame first, but the engine looks fairly intact.

Glad to see you are okay! Is there any buckling in the roof area? I think its pretty on the edge of being totaled from the pics but if there is any buckling its a for sure IMO

No there's no buckling anywhere on the roof. If they do total it, I wonder how much they would probably sell it back to me for? Then I'd fix it myself.

 

I am gonna say it is totaled actually since both airbags deployed... Although the engine bay looks all good

That sucks man, It doesnt look totaled though, but who knows what they want to fix it, that is the deciding factor. I would actually hope you have gap and they total it. I couldnt live with a wrecked title! Im really sorry for the loss. If it is totaled and you upgrade to a new evo or whatever, grab that cone filter and exhaust manifold shield off there and Ill buy it from you. better than letting them junk it.

Shi++y deal man, there have been alot of ice problems lately.

(actually Id buy a bunch of oem pieces (interior trim), sorry it sounds kinda rude bringing that up)
