Debadging the Evo
^ but we do have a lancer??
I have all of mine removed, and I did it because I had an afternoon to spare. I re-badged it with something different, (read: not the UK badge), and I am happy with it. Plus, nobody knows what the heck I drive, sort of funny to me when people look at it with a confused face.

Personally, I think the trunklid debadged minus the Mitsubishi emblem (and the SE emblem, if so equipped) is the way to go. The standard "Lancer Evolution" emblems are disgusting, but completely debadged looks a little odd.
But I do really dislike falsely badged vehicles. eg. BMW 323i with an M3 badge
I did see a Chrysler 300 SRT8 with a regular 300C badge on. Very, very sneaky and surprised me!
well when I got mine, I wanted the UK badging, so I did that, but the badging isnt that bad on the Evo's. On the subies, particularly the STi's, I can understand stripping them, especially if you are wanting a "sleeper". for instance, on my buddy's 07 STi, it says "STi" something like 23 times on the car, thats insane, and the fact that on the rear decklid alone, it has the subie stars logo, Impreza, WRX, STI...thats lot...He is stripping his off because of that, but also because hes gonna halfway go down the road of having a sleeper. ditchingthe wing for a prodrive wing, painting the calipers black, getting rims, blacked out FMI and an RS hood to ditch the scoop...the only badge thats going to be on the outside of the car is the STi badge in the front grill, and its black now, so....
you cant really go "sleeper" with an Evo, because everyone (that knows anything about cars) knows what it is, there isnt really any hiding it...a much different story with an STi

^^ much of the reason why I got the evo. I didn't want to me mistaken for an RS imprezza or WRX. As for the badging, I just took off the 'lancer'. it still looks good IMO and is a change up to all those UK badges. in the end its you call. (unless somebody jacks your badges, haha)
