I'm planning on getting a HID conversion kit for my '06 Evo IX. I just wanted to get some opinions on what kit I should get? I want something that is pretty bright at night. Would 6000K be good? Or 8000K? Please give me some insight, Thanks.

 

I think you should stop making threads about this, it hasn't even been a whole day yet. People were already kind enough to make suggestions in your thread in the Newbie/FAQ section rather than telling you to search, as tons and tons of people have asked and answered the same question.

 

Most stock OEM HIDs are around 4300K....the higher the number you go the less effective the output becomes.....6000k would be the highest I would go. You looking for a particular color?

There are some nice kits out there...and plenty of threads discussing this topic.

6K sounds good thats what i going with

 

6k is what i have and it looks very good, also very bright
