Good luck with it. The "mod money" should add up pretty quick.

Quiting Cigs is much harder then people think, especially the beginners. They always say that I can quit whenever I want. Yeah right.

Well good luck to bro. I read it on MSN.com once that if you're craving for a cig, a cup of cold water will help.

you saying not being able to quit smoking is a mental illness, is like me telling you that you not being able to quit eating is a mental weakness.
We have all heard stories about that gross stuff people eat to stay alive in certain situations and i have watched people pick up half smoked cigs off the ground.
+1 on WVUmaniac, I c/t'd approx 5 years ago after 12 years of smoking-- all because of a new car and a new wife-- good luck it can be done.

This month it will be rallyarmor mudflaps. Lets see if I can hold out to get parts or if the nicotine will drive me crazy enough to go buy a pack. I just smoked my last cig in the pack 3 hours ago. I'll keep you all posted.
Good luck. I've been trying to quit smoking too for xxx times. Been smoking for more than 20 years! I'm spending at least $180 each month for cigarettes...that's 1 pack a day @ $6/pack. Smoking is expensive in America. Should've stopped smoking before I came here. I'm thankful to the Evo as it helped me minimize the number of cigarettes I smoke since I don't smoke in the Evo. But my other car smells like ashtray.

my bad i did say illness but i meant weakness. what im trying to say is when i tried to quit smoking the "cravings" were comparable to being so hungry youd eat anything
quitting smoking is just way harder than people think but it is possible and your right it does take mental strength to quit. It also takes complete commitment.

anyway good luck man keep us updated.

Still going strong! like 10 hours lol. When I get a craving I'll do 200 push ups or 200 sit ups.

get some dentine ice the grey gum, no way you can smoke after that medicine tasting gum. Best mod you'll get for you car is not having the smoke smell in it.

Its only hard for a weak person, studies show that its 98% mental when quitting smoking, im not saying its not hard, but its like loosing weight, you got to put in the time, and for cigs, its time not smoking.

goodluck with your choice to quit smoking.
