EVO on PASS TIME on SPEED
I used to own a couple LS1 Camaros. They had a FULLY built, insane head/cam SS that ran a 12.6 on one of those "Speed" network shows.
idiots. I've owned an 11 second LS1 with half those mods, and stock, I ran a 13.1 @108. Their times are retardedly slow to the point of it being upsetting.

Really though, it is pretty cool he got to be on national TV! That's something I've never done

well guys that was me that was on pass time in my defense i never launch my car i only been down the track 3 times . i just got back from the same track and did a little better 1.7 60' 1/4 12.1 mph 114 . i still have that broken driver mod .sorry if i didn't represent the evo community but this is my first awd turbo car .

Its good to have though. I know its bad but i know for a fact that my local
dealership monitors this thread. Back in 04 i went in for a tranny replacement under warranty. They said okay no problem. They call me and tell me its ready but it will not be covered under warranty and i need to come down to talk about it. I get there and they have printed off posts that i wrote about racing the car on this thread. Of course they didnt have a leg to stand on since they did everything and then came to this conclusion. So after some yelling and screaming i got my way and walked out with a new tranny under warranty. But i guess they got the last laugh when they told me not to come back since i have been flagged. Oh well after that i figured might as well go all out now and been having the most fun ever since! Sorry for the offtopic!

Taking a huge step of consipracy theorizing ,and assuming your local dealer had nothing better to do than search out posts on the internet, unless your name is "Man Gook" how did they know it was your post(s)?
On top of that, dealers DO get paid for warranty work, and a lot of manufacturers grade the delears on how much warranty work they actually do. Manufacturers don't like it when dealers deny claims to get the customer to pay
Hey thats my buddy Todd AKA DesertEagle50. He redeemed himself last night with a 1.7 60ft and a 12.1@113mph which is a new personal best for him. Too bad he didn't run that time on the past time show. lol Oh well. Keep it up Todd!
