Clutch Problem / Question

Last night I put the car in 1st and floored it, but for some reason the clutch just burned instead of grabbing. It reeked a ridiculous amount, so I pulled over into a shopping center and let it cool for a few minutes before going back out...When I drove it home I didnt really notice any issues with it though. But the 2 times I drove it today, both times I got out of the car I could smell clutch coming from underneath..I hate the smell so much. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Dont give me any bs answers like "ope buy a new clutch." my car has 2200 miles on it.

MOST of the time I read about clutches going out so early in their lifespan....is due to the driver.....Not saying this is the case with you. Are you the original owner?

Yes I am. But I bought the car with 150 miles from the dealer...So whatever the hell they did with it in that time I definitely don't wanna know..Even if they were burning the clutch like crazy the whole 150 miles I DO NOT believe that the clutch would or could fail so fast.

I was with him the first time that it happened today, and I assure you that it is not the driver. No slippage whatsoever...perfect engagement and shifts.

After just driving today it wasn't an outrageous smell in the cabin, but it was noticeable from outside.

you know, my brake switch on the e-brake handle went bad and the light on the dash doesn't go on when i pull it up. one night, i put it down like i always do but something must have been blocking the full travel down because i was still about 2-3 clicks engaged. it wasn't enough to make the car drag, but after about 5-6 miles of driving, i pulled into a gas station and thought i burned up the clutch. it was, however, the brakes. LOLOLOL. but it's probably your clutch.

Do this test to check for clutch slippage:

1) put the e-brake up as high as you can
2) put the car in 5th car
3) slowly left off the clutch
4) if the revs drop then the clutch is not slipping
or
5) if the revs increase then the clutch is slipping

Simple and easy test...
