well guys i havent posted on here in like 2 months and i feel its finally time to give a review....
To start out I am deployed to my 2nd tour in Iraq.....and thats when i relized that my Evo needed more power.
So why I was gone i was talking to a good friend that runs a shop outta his garage...name is KevinD. I sent him $6000 to buy parts for my car, while I was gone. Here is what I got:
FP Green (ported/swain coated)
Ported Manifold (swain coated)
SS O2 pipe (swain coated)
HKS 272 Cams
HKS RS Intake
AMS LICP
ACT HD Clutch
ProLite Flywheel
Shepp Stage 2 T-Case
Greddy Profec B Spec2
and AquaMist HFS-5
680cc Injectors
(I already have a 3in TBE w/ cat delete)
He had all this done and installed by the time I came home, except for the tuning witch i didt mind at all because it was a good experiance tuning the car and feeling it come to life....
I told KevinD that i wanted to make the most outta the FP Green and have a fast street car that would be fun to drive both hard and easy. So we decided to go 100% meth on the Aquamist...
this aloud us to turn the boost to 30psi. all i have to say is OMG!!!!!!!
(we had no knocks the whole time tuning the car)
This car is a beast...max boost (30psi) comes on around 4100rpm (I CAN NOT BELIVE HOW FAST THIS THING SPOOLS UP!!!!!) and drops to 26psi by 7200rpm. I have never felt anything pull soo hard though the gears...Its like a whole new car...we did a street tune, therefore just did a quick street dyno of the car....keep in mind I had 4 ppl in the car when we did the dyno run so we tried to calculate for the extra weight, but the car made 420whp and 430(ish)wtq!!! This green turbo is ****in insane...for a stock trim turbo! I plan on getting a real dyno done when i return just to see what it gets.
well, in the end I was only home for 2 weeks on Leave and put about 1000miles on the car
, but it was great! I have to say the clean install of the parts and mainly the Aquamist kit is great....worth the money...and kevinD definly knows how to tune Meth. Now that Im back in Iraq I miss the car....but I think i had enough to hold me over till May when ill be home for good.
All in all if you want a badass street car that is responsive i would recommend the Green hands down. great spool, good power, all around great Turbo from FP.
to my car: we will be reunited again soon.

Man congrats on the new mods!! And a little off topic but well worth it. Thank you very much for putting your life in danger. Even though i don't believe this war is worth it, doesn't mean our troops don't deserve every little bit of our support. Its not your fault you are doing what you are told. Stay safe my friend.

I'm in country now and a AMS 30R kit and loads of other parts sitting in my fiance's apartment back at home. She can't wait till I get home but I think its just cause she wants her room cleared out from all the boxes. hehe

I am getting my green with meth tuned friday. I already love it... When I was over there, I came home on my two weeker and bought an evo lol. Then the remaining time when I went back was just ordering parts. When I got home there was a pile of parts just waiting for me to put on. Good luck over there and return safely... for your cars sake HAHA....
