Traction prevails, and somethin ain't right with a 600hp mustang that needs to leave asap. Don't take on someone's used project...never know...

this is a tough decsion.

I am just firmly agianst buying any used mustang. From my personal experience mustang owners love to dog the crap out of their cars. They have a drive it like you stole it mentality and the insurance numbers when i contimplated the thought of buying one backed up my final decsion. Ever wonder why at any used car dealer theres always the deal of a lifetime on some beefed up redneck mobile. Thats because most mustang owners love the whole american muscle thing and could never really appreciate the versatility of a new age evo. The days of the 600 hp mustang are about as prehistoric as the gasoline it burns. HMMMMMM lets think this one through. Im going to trade a awd, fast, affordable, and extremly stylish, new evo. For a gas guzzling, over powered, and over priced(insurance) mustang. Damnit if you want a fast straightline mustang buy a damn set of wrenches, an old fox body and build one yourself. Lastly, dont compare apples to oranges.

Good idea not to go for this one. Good grief its got a NOS fogger on it in addition to the Kenne Bell? You just know the owners killed this thing a bunch of times. Can you say UXB? (unexploded bomb)

Cars like that are the kind you'll want to get new, keep in a garage, and drive it to the track on weekends. I can't imagine 600hp around town...

I'll play a bit of devil's advocate here. If you never track the car (apart from drag racing) and only want a car that can get up and go when cruising around, the Cobra might be the better option.

You'd be really surprised how civilized they are driving around town. I've owned two and daily driven one all year round mikine 400whp. They drive like any normal car until the go fast pedal is mashed.

Right dude. Except for the fact that the mustang has been an american icon for the past 40+ years, right?

Ask 10 people whether they've heard of the evo or the mustang. I'd be willing to bet 8-10 out of 10 will know what a mustang is, maybe 5 will know what an evo is.
