how hard is the installation on the front motor mount?
would i need a lift to do this? i no longer work for a dealership anymore
and im very mechanically inclined. i did my clutch install, so im not a newb
The front mount is not hard at all. Just unbolt the beam that it's on and it will come out, the side mounts will hold the engine still. Bolt the new mount on the bar and then bolt the bar back up. It's the easiest to do. The passenger side one can also be done with a jack in your garage, it takes patience and some coaxing to get it in but it will go in. The driver's side one may require you remove the mount studs on the transmission depending on who's you bought. Haven't done the rear yet so I can't comment on that one's difficulty.
Be prepared though for the results, replacing the front will make the car sound *very* loud in the engine compartment. If you've got a clutch that's loud, wait till you hear it with the front engine mount in!
