would the mount, dampner, or shift bushings help with the sometime getting that jerk in the wheels after shifting 1-2 and 2-3?

Get a front motor mount. Reasons...it is cheaper than the dampner and works better! Beleive me, I have a dampner and a front motor mount and the motor mount was cheaper and I felt more improvement with just the motor mount on. Just my opinion but I think others feel the same way.

On another note, the dampner does work well and helps the enigine bay looks out a bit if you are going in that direction.

Like everyone else said i too felt a big difference with the powerflex front motor mount bushing which i did when the car was stock. I didn't really feel much of a difference at all when i installed the engine dampner. Combined it's a pretty good setup if your not trying to do all solid motor mounts.

I overheard the doctors at a local starbucks talk about a new term they have with patients with stiff neck problems, they called it "damper necks"
I guess they say guys using dampers/engine mounts start to develop stiff necks from all that vibration.
dont be a damper neck hahahha

Powerflex... and its really easy to install. The side mounts are a little bit of a pain, but still not difficult to do with a jack and jackstands.

I'm in the middle of an install of the front and side motor mounts, using Powerflex mounts. I'm coming from Ingall's Stiffy. Been using that for 2yrs. I'll respond back the differences between the two after I finish the install tonight.

As for the damper...
The damper made a big improvement over stock for sure. I kept it on medium/hard setting. Shifting felt more solid and you really felt the clutch grab when you shift hard. But after driving the car for a while, you could feel the other engine mounts get hot and soften up, so it lost some of the dampening. One thing I found annoying was when you accelerated at a low rpm, the damper rattled like there was a loose bolt under the hood.

I had the Ingalls dampener and the AMS poly front mount. Ingalls was great, adjustable but even at full stiff with the Ingalls it didn't compare to the actual poly front mount.

i had a engine dampener, got rid of it & now i have a Beatrush roll stopper up front & powerflex bushings on the sides & OEM bushings in the dogbone / rear mount

the beatrush roll stopper (front eng mount) alone was more effective at stopping engine movement & transmitted less vibration than the dampener & OEM mounts did

when i added the powerflex side mounts it increased vibration to about the same level as when i had the dampener & OEM mounts ( slight vibration) but the engine movement was more controlled with just the lower mount, making the car more responsive & easier to drive at low speeds

it is my opinion that the dampeners are limiting movement is a plane that is not needed or as beneficial as replacing the OEM mounts. also as one previous poster mentioned, by adding the dampener you are effectively transferring that load to the OEM mounts.

another concern is that by adding the dampener with its mounting points so high it changes how the engine reacts to load, rather than pivoting on the engines center of gravity or side mounts, it now pivots from the dampener

i say get the OEM replacement mounts first, if that is not enough, perhaps then add the dampener
