I usually go nuts with zip ties. I couldn't remove that boost gauge if I tried.

I use hose clamps for my vacuum lines.

Just tap the FPR line and don't look back. The hard part of installing a boost gauge IMO was drilling through the firewall. There's a nice, clear spot right next to the throttle cable. The back-lighting wiring took about 5 minutes once I got the ground wire connected. Fairly easy mod, but I did a bit of research before I started slicing things up under the hood.

You may have already said this, but what mechanical boost gauge did you get? Autometer?

no I went with glowshift...they were cheap and match my dash gauges (Trustz gauges)...I will more than likely move on to something nicer/better down the line, but right now I just got it so I can put my boost controller on....im happy so far.

You know there is a hole on the passenger side of the firewall that has a grommet in it that you can run everything through and no drilling is required....

yeah I tried to get to it, but it was more work than I wanted to do to run a line, so I drilled behind the clutch and brake pedals into an open space, then ran it up and across the firewall and down to the intake manifold...
I just put it up sort of temporarily, I am going to get under there and clean it up today or tomorrow so it isnt as noticable.
